I'm Abbie. 

 

I like semi-colons, hyphens and full stops, and a part time member of the grammar police. Yes, I'm being serious!!!

 

Eccentric is the word I would use to describe myself. I love to have fun and most importantly, I love writing and I want to help as many people as I can to enjoy writing and to improve their grades. I want to do this through my essay writing website.

 

Over the years, I have grown from the student who was scared of essays in Year 7 into someone who loves the English Language! So it was no surprise that I chose to study English Language and Linguistics in my Bachelor's degree and I loved every minute of it (that was a lie- it was hard work!) 

 

Ultimately, I've spent 3 years writing essays on the English language and sociolinguistics and learnt English grammar from lecturers who have PHDs in language, linguistics, sociolinguistics, old English and semantics. This experience at university is what made me fall in love with the English language. It has showed me that whether your essay is on business, finance, law or history my background in English Language means that I can help! 

 

I am currently studying at the Institute of Education to teach English!
